For this passion project, I developed a marketing concept for the Marni x Kodak collaboration, imagining how a luxury Italian fashion house and an iconic American photography brand could merge their creative worlds. The goal was to explore a campaign that celebrates analog nostalgia while positioning Marni within a culturally resonant, experience-driven narrative that speaks to today’s visually expressive consumer.
Build a campaign that revives the emotional appeal of film photography and pairs it with Marni’s artistic, tactile design language. By centering the collaboration around themes of memory, creativity, and self-expression, the concept highlights how both brands champion individuality. The strategy uses immersive storytelling, community-focused activations, and visuals inspired by Kodak’s archival color palettes, bridging past and present to create a vibrant, contemporary brand moment. Rooted in the rising cultural demand for nostalgia, the campaign taps into Gen Z and millennial desire for tangible, analog experiences that feel human, imperfect, and emotionally resonant. By bringing Kodak’s nostalgic legacy into Marni’s colorful, expressive world, the collaboration transforms nostalgia from a trend into a shared, joyful experience.
